To ENHYPEN and ENGENE’s best leader, We don’t think we could ever put into words just how much you mean to ENGENEs and to ENHYPEN. From the very start, you took on a role that others would have found too overwhelming, especially as the leader of a group that was just starting to find its footing in the industry, with members from different backgrounds and personalities. Yet you, the second youngest among the group, have accepted the role and stepped up, carrying that responsibility with a maturity beyond your age. We know it takes such a brave heart like yours to make everything work. That’s why it still really amazes us to think of how young you were when you took on that role and how naturally the role of a leader fits you. Time and time again, you’ve shown us that you’re more than capable as a leader, even when things must have felt too impossible and tiring. Watching you grow as a leader, we see someone who leads with both strength and a gentle heart, balancing the needs of the group while looking out for each member. You were always aware of everyone’s emotions, and you have this quiet way of guiding them, making each member feel seen, heard and validated. You’ve created a family out of ENHYPEN (and ENGENEs too!), and the members aren’t shy about expressing just how much they rely on you. It’s because of you that they’ve been able to go through all the ups and downs together, bouncing back united and stronger than ever. Jungwon, you may have taken on this title of “leader,” but you’ve given it so much meaning. You were never the leader who imposes, but instead, you are a leader who listens. You show up every day with understanding and courage, making sure ENHYPEN is a place where each member feels safe to be themselves. That’s why they can be the craziest version of themselves around you. We know it hasn’t been easy. We’re sure there have been countless moments when the weight felt too heavy, and you wondered if you were doing enough. But trust us, you are doing more than enough. You’ve become the glue that holds ENHYPEN together, a friend, a confidant, and a role model not only to your members but to ENGENEs too, who look up to you. And beyond leading the group, you’ve also become the captain of the ship that both ENHYPEN and ENGENEs sail on together since day one. You’re the one who steers us through uncharted waters, through every wave and storm, never letting us lose sight of what matters. You’re not just leading ENHYPEN, you’re leading ENGENEs, too. Every day, you make sure that we are seen, that we know we’re an important part of ENHYPEN’s journey. You make time to communicate with us on Weverse, even on the most exhausting days, letting us feel close to you. That consistency, the way you make sure we know you’re here, is something priceless and special that not every leader of a group would do. It makes us so proud thinking about everything you’ve managed to do at such a young age. Most people would be daunted by the pressure alone, but you’ve handled it very well. ENHYPEN wouldn’t be the group that it is today without you, and it makes us really emotional to hear your members openly say that as well. They lean on you, they trust you, and they respect you because they know that with you by their side, there’s nothing they can’t face. Thank you for being you, Jungwon. Thank you for being strong, for giving us comfort, for all the silent sacrifices you’ve made, and for giving ENHYPEN and ENGENEs a leader we can depend on, no matter what. When you feel too overwhelmed, and you can’t seem to find the clear in all the blur, remember that it’s okay to take a step back, to rest, and to let others carry you.
