EPIC testified in support of the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC) which is advancing to the Appropriations Committee. For 20+ years, the CCTC has mobilized private investment in child care. Thanks to bill sponsors and the House Finance Committee for unanimous support.

Each year, 15,000+ Coloradans invest $66M in child care, leveraging $33M from the state. That’s the impact of the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC). Extending CCTC through HB26-1004 keeps care affordable, supports providers and strengthens Colorado’s workforce.

Colorado employers lose $780M each year due to a shortage of child care. For 20+ years, the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCTC) has strengthened child care through private investment. HB 26-1004 is up next week. Investing in child care strengthens Colorado’s workforce.🦾
