@ahsalla highlighted the need for harmonized collection & sorting across the EU, plus consistent EPR schemes. MEP @KatriKulmuni agreed that conflicting regulations create hurdles - removing barriers & ensuring a clear framework is key to making the circular economy a success 👏

Today, we attended "How to Fulfill the Potential of the Circular Economy Act". “Circular economy is not an option—it is essential.” 🇧🇪 Coreper I ambassador @bertversmessen emphasized the role of EU legislation as a catalyst for progress, driving innovation and competitiveness.

#Decarbonization offers a major opportunity for the fibre-based packaging industry. EPPA calls for increased support in innovation and investments in bio-based, circular packaging solutions, as well as consistent enforcement of EU rules across Member States 🇪🇺

At @Bruegel_org’s event, EVP @Teresaribera shared great insights: ✅ The Single Market’s value is vital; fragmentation must be avoided ✅ Innovation requires market confidence; simplified decision-making is key ✅ Decarbonization must be a driver of growth and resilience

🎉Milestone achieved: The #PPWR is officially adopted by the European Parliament! With Council approval expected in December, we're moving closer to turning this landmark regulation into actionable measures. 🤝Let’s keep the collaborative spirit alive in the next phase!
