Coming to an end in April 2025, the ERIGrid 2.0 project hosted its Final Event titled “Leveraging Research Infrastructure for Smart Energy Systems – Lessons Learned and Key Results of ERIGrid 2.0” 💡 This event was dedicated to presenting the outcomes of five years of work towards leveraging research infrastructure for smart energy systems. The project consortium showcased the ERIGrid 2.0 validation scenarios, test cases, and other significant achievements on April 1, 2025. ERIGrid 2.0’s free access to Europe’s leading laboratories (Lab Access) was also highlighted, with successful users presenting their innovative solutions tested at the labs of ERIGrid partners. The second part of the event, the second user workshop provided the opportunity for six selected user groups (out of more than 100 realised access projects) to present their results and findings from the laboratory access program. 🔗 The slides from the ERIGrid 2.0 Final Event (incl. the 2nd User Workshop) are now available via: lnkd.in/evz367Vh and lnkd.in/ey8cKsTv 🔍 Visit our project website to read more: lnkd.in/eKmttpJY

Another ERIGrid 2.0 Success Story!🔍 The project, titled “Open source supervisory control system platform for distribution grid applications,” focused on testing a SCADA platform for microgrid and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) operation. "The ERIGrid 2.0 Lab Access provided invaluable support to our user project [...] The opportunity to access CRES' advanced infrastructure was crucial for evaluating the interoperability of our system with various field devices and commercial inverters. Without ERIGrid 2.0, our project would have faced significant limitations in testing and validating the system in a controlled, realistic setting." - Heybet Kilic 🔗 Learn more about this project here: lnkd.in/eQzkKbQS
