On April 24, ICE ERO Newark arrested Angel Tores De Santiago, a twice-removed criminal alien from Mexico. He was convicted for aggravated assault with a weapon and terroristic threats. He was also charged for possession of a controlled dangerous substance by local authorities.

On April 23, ICE ERO Newark arrested Oscar Armando Guifarro-Salinas, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras & active MS-13 gang member. Guifarro is in ICE custody after serving time for criminal use of a firearm – causing death of a person, petit larceny and disorderly conduct.

On April 22, ICE ERO Newark arrested Luis Anibal Chusete-Cuchipartes, a criminal alien from Ecuador, who was previously removed in October 2022. He faces multiple serious charges including aggravated assault, possession of weapon for unlawful purpose & theft of unlawful taking.

Luis Angel Campos-Quintero, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for sexual assault of a minorin Passaic County, New Jersey.

NEW JERSEY: @HSINewark has arrested Nilson Armando Avalos Palacios, a criminal illegal alien MS-13 GANG MEMBER. Avalos Palacios, an illegal alien from El Salvador, has a lengthy criminal history including prior arrests for assault, possession of weapon, and terroristic threat offenses. Thanks to the heroic men and women of DHS law enforcement, this gang member is off our streets. Under @POTUS Trump and @SecMullinDHS, the safety of American citizens will ALWAYS come first.

On April 20, ICE ERO Newark detained Fredy Alexander Lopez Lara, an illegal alien from Honduras who is wanted in his home country for homicide. He was located and arrested in Eatontown, N.J. Lopez will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

On April 17, ICE ERO Newark removed Jaime Granados-Rendon, a criminal illegal alien, to his home country of Mexico. He has a federal conviction for interstate prostitution and is wanted in Mexico for human trafficking and organized crime.

On April 16, ICE ERO Newark arrested Diana Carolina Bustos-Perez, an illegal alien from Colombia. Bustos, a confirmed South American Theft Group member, received a removal order in 2024 and was convicted for felony grand larceny in Virginia. She's in ICE custody, pending removal.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Patricio Fernando Ramon-Vacacela, a criminal illegal alien from Ecuador, during a targeted enforcement operation on April 1 in Brooklawn, New Jersey. He was ordered removed in 2020 and has an outstanding warrant for sexual assault in Pennsylvania.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Fernando Antonio De-Oliveira, a criminal alien from Brazil w/an order of removal, on March 31. He was serving a 5-year sentence at a state prison for convictions of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose & criminal restraint. Antonio is detained.

ICE ERO Newark lodged a detainer with the Passaic County Jail, on March 29, for Jesus Jimenez, an illegal alien from of the Dominican Republic who overstayed his visa, following his arrest for drug charges. Jimenez is now detained, pending removal proceedings.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Jaime Granados Rendon, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, upon his release from federal prison on March 27. He completed his five-year sentence for interstate prostitution and is wanted in Mexico for human trafficking and organized crime.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Oscar Francisco Sarmiento Martinez, a previously removed criminal alien and MS-13 gang member from Honduras. Sarmiento’s criminal history is severe, including convictions for burglary, robbery, kidnapping and possession of escape implements as an inmate.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Luis Calderon-Martinez, a criminal illegal alien & MS-13 member from El Salvador, after his release from federal prison on March 27. This criminal alien will remain in ICE custody pending his removal from the United States.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Brandon Leonidas Matzul-Chipix, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, on March 30. He was previously convicted for endangering-sexual conduct with a child and sentenced to parole supervision for life plus requirements of Megan's Law registration.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Raul Lopez Santiago, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, on March 17. He was convicted of cruelty and neglect of children Feb. 6 by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County. He is detained, pending removal proceedings.
