@RiseFromTheAshZ The fact that Pelley name dropped Hage in his presser tells me that he probably wouldn't let this deal happen without Hage. The goal in trading Knies is definitely trying to get one of the big name prospects. Ignila, Hage, so on. Whether thats fair or not is a different convo IMO

The fact that this trade is disliked by many Habs fans and at the same time shot down as not enough for Matthew Knies, suggests its a fair-ish deal. Knies is a 60 point 6'3 230 pound 23 y/o winger that hits about 170 times per season. He makes 7.75 million for 5 more years.

@GrumpaDotCA At the start of the season I was saying: Veleno is where our offensive goes to die. Now I say it but for the other team! Expectations are different!

Veleno has 12.43 Hits/60. Only Blais (27.11) and Arber Xhekaj (14.44) have more. The next #Habs down the list is Bolduc at 9.49. I never thought of Veleno as a physical player. But with his speed, if he’s willing to play that role, he would be a regular in my lineup. #GoHabsGo
