It’s funny because Bob Rock always complained that the 80s thrash sound had zero low end and then the culture over corrected after grunge.

I love 90s-2000s metal/nu metal but I feel like once you went over half a step down in tuning, the mids & low ends are incredibly muddy in the master. I’d love to hear a modern clean crisp version. Any recommendations?
