They've made an error with the Nightingale hospitals once, now they seem to be repeating it. Meantime fear is built up concerning a usually mild disease. There also seems to be an obsession with testing. We didn't test ourselves previously for colds & flu, we just got on with it.

@TraveyDuck @denisrancourt Look up how vaccine efficacy is measured. Hasn't changed in decades. It's always about risk reduction, not about preventing people from catching something. The messaging around these vaccines has just been all over the place. But measuring efficacy hasnt changed.

Here we are, post vaccination campaign in Canada... "Has mass vaccination reduced cases?" New "cases" more than prior to "vaccination". In science, we call this disproving the hypothesis. (Assuming the hypothesis made any sense at all.) Source: Gov of Canada.

My daughter appeared for a fleeting visit, but one of the headlamps had gone in her Fiesta. We managed to change the bulb, quite a fiddly job, but managed thanks to my comprehensive collection of screw-drivers, and a youtube how-to film!! We had to remove the whole unit...
