Shutting down a city of 20 million people to clean their immediate environment is parochial and lacks imagination. For emphasis: the issue is not so much about cleaning your environment (which is great) but the logistics of waste management - starting from the collection, to disposal and recycling. Anything short of rethinking this system is cosmetic and unimaginative.

@DrKalu_ From HND, you get your PGD, which automatically qualifies you for a masters, after that you can pursue a PhD. A doctorate qualifies you to be a professor with criteria like publications, impact factor, conferences, years in service, or internal politics.

I heard you can never become a professor in Nigeria with HND even if you have 10 Masters degrees and 100 PhDs. Is this true?

PDP rigged against Obi, and he responded by going to court quietly. No noise, no threats of violence. When he got wind that the House was planning to impeach him, still no drama, no intimidation. Even after he was impeached, he stepped aside calmly without unleashing chaos, then went to court and reclaimed his mandate. That’s Obi for you, someone who believes firmly in doing things the right way through the rule of law. Since 1999, it’s hard to point to many governors who didn’t rely on thugs or miscreants to push their agenda. Obi stands out in that regard.
