This is exactly what Ye tried to avoid. For years, people mocked him and dismissed his concerns when he said he didn't want North growing up in the public spotlight. Now we're watching exactly why he was worried. Complete strangers are making up fake stories, fabricating quotes, inventing relationships, and using a teenager as engagement bait because they know it'll go viral. Thousands of people will read these posts, assume they're true, and keep spreading them without questioning a single word. This is the reality of putting a child on the spotlight!!!! This is literraly engagement farming at the expense of a kid's privacy and safety. Whether you agree with Ye or not, no child deserves to have lies fabricated about them just to generate engagement. Protecting a minor should always come before making them a public figure, and tbh it's disturbing how normalized this has become.
