At the start of COVID, the government implemented many social programs that helped people who were struggling. These programs were immensely popular.

This is exactly what’s happened. Democrats and their voters have not only accepted large-scale harm towards vulnerable people abroad, and the cost for their rights here, they’ve co-opted radical messaging and call it a form of liberation and radical justice. Nasty, nasty work.
