If you didn’t already know that the Journal is a filthy state propaganda rag:

I had a busy day today, but I finally made it up to O'Connell Street to meet with the protesters for Day 5. It was great to see some familiar faces from Meath, Cavan, and Louth. I had a wee chat with James Geoghegan. I hope he is well compensated by the media for defaming him. The atmosphere there is great: Gardaí on the ground are pleasant, and traffic is flowing—only O'Connell Street is blocked. Traffic on the Quays is flowing too. Hopefully, this government will put an end to these countrywide protests tomorrow with a package that benefits everyone. Keep it peaceful. #FuelProtests #MakeWorkPay

Fuel protest leader James Geoghegan has animal cruelty convictions and Revenue judgments irishtimes.com/crime-law/2026…

Why are fake accounts from Iran posting about Ireland. Interesting article regarding the activities of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, involved in covert influence operations in relation to creating material supporting Irish reunification. From todays @IrishTimes

Gardai are taking no prisoners in Aghada.

Ireland. There’s really very little moral difference between the right-wing fuel protests intending to bring the country to its knees, and pro-Pal occupy-campus protests which were intended to bully the universities into submission. They are both illiberal.

I have spoken to the protesters today. They are willing to allow 10 loads of fuel out of Whitegate today for emergency services. This could increase tomorrow if there are positive results from the talks today. The government must engage.

@declanganley Disagree Declan. Those who harm everyone and threaten far greater harm do not get to dictate public policy. If they do, ungovernability and anarchy will follow.
