March 19, 1960: Elvis rented the Rainbow Rollerdrome in Memphis for an evening of roller-skating 'wars' with the guys. The Rainbow Rollerdome, was located at 2879 Lamar Avenue in Memphis. Today there is an apartment complex and a grocery store on the site.
