Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil: 🇻🇪 Our oil industry has suffered attacks and blockades since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, in an attempt to weaken a sovereign process; but these attempts have been defeated and confronted with unity and morale. Today, we commemorate 23 years of the defeat of the oil sabotage that lasted 63 days (from December 2002 to February 2003) and was promoted by the stateless opposition, Fedecámaras, and PDVSA managers. The aim was to overthrow the Government of Commander Chávez by paralyzing oil production and exports. Our working class, the people, and the Armed Forces recovered PDVSA and gave a lesson in patriotism to those who tried to harm the entire Venezuelan people.
