The grass is greener on the other side based on a few factors: The extent of grass sown, How long ago it was planted, How consistently it is being watered. Don’t be unnecessarily tensioned by others’ results; focus on what you are planting. When it springs up, It’d be beautiful.

Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly members have thrown Speaker Debo Ogundoyin under the bus. They said tho’ the Speaker declined the offer, they said he met with the Olubadan on plans to impeach Governor Makinde. These lawmakers insist they were not part of any such meeting and have said that the Speaker should take responsibility for any consequences arising from his alleged engagement with the Olubadan. Is this a calculated move to edge Speaker Debo out of the Omituntun 3.0 equation? How credible are these allegations? And if there is any truth to them, could it also add weight to the rumours surrounding the dethronement of the Olubadan? My prayers are with Speaker Debo Ogundoyin in these trying times. Pele my dear.

A renowned SAN in Ibadan received #35m for the Osun State Governorship election petition and gave my friend who was a junior counsel in the firm that actively participated throughout #150,000. My friend left litigation afterwards!! He didn't look back after he resigned from his law firm. I heard his salary prior to that time was #50,000. Law practice in Nigeria 😆 🤣 😂!

A senior Lawyer in Jos was part of an election petition team many years ago, and he took some of his lawyers with him. In the end, they were paid around 30 million naira. The lead counsel called the young wigs, gave them a million each, and asked them to go. Now, this senior lawyer was unaware of that arrangement, so he paid his lawyers nothing north of 80k. He later found out that the lead counsel had given those lawyers a million each, and much to his chagrin, he asked them to send it to him, as they had no right to accept the money “behind his back” and he would pay them back what they were due. They left the office. LEGAL PRACTICE IN NIGERIA!!!

Until my inverter guy told me, I didn’t even know that there is a button on my inverter AC that, once pressed, makes the AC use less power and automatically sets the temperature to 24 degrees centigrade. The power consumption on the inverter battery drops noticeably. Interesting!
