Exciting news! 🚀 Our study on stone management in pelvic kidneys—the largest to date—is out in the World Journal of Urology.  A huge thanks to the 11 international centers for this global collaboration! 🌍🩺  Key Findings: • Best Results: Multimodal-guided PCNL achieved the highest stone-free rate (86.7%) with fewer ancillary procedures.  • Challenges: Flexible ureteroscopy (f-URS) showed lower efficacy due to complex anatomy.  • Safety: Complication rates were low and comparable to anatomically normal kidneys.  Grateful for this team effort to improve patient care! 🙌 @smumexico @Endo_Society @CAU_URO @migokce @scoffonecesare @wjurol @VicentiniUro @2fabiosepulveda @thomastailly @emiliani_e

Very #Low #Power #AEEP (30w) & 276m Fiber Laser P-ThuFLEP w/ the new #Pulsed #Thulium:YAG The 276m Fiber Laser is better known for making #fURS because of its diameter, allowing good irrigation & vision for #stone #lithotripsy. On the other side #AEEP is commonly performed w/550 m fiber laser. With no doubt it is possible to perform adequately a very low #AEEP w/ Pulsed Thulium:YAG from @DornierMedTech & a 276m #fiber #laser The question is: it is recommended? Well, thee is not evidence that support it. @young_endosoc @Endo_Society @urotelio @smumexico @CAU_URO

It was an interesting and enriching experience with this new technology: the Pulsed Thulium:YAG from @DornierMedTech. We have successfully performed #AEEP’s highlighting one: VERY #Low #Power (30w) (276 microns Fiber Laser) , #Anatomic, #Endoscopic #Enucleation of the #Prostate, #AEEP Very Good Impression from This New Laser. Thanks to the @spuurologia 4 inviting me to this enriching activity as well as to @DornierMedTech from Peru 🇵🇪 by Perla & my big friend : Bruno Vazquez. @Endo_Society @smumexico @CAU_URO #endourologyfellowship
