A wedding celebration turned into a family disaster when a young woman stood up and stopped her brother’s ceremony in front of hundreds of guests. For months, Mia had secretly been in love with her brother Daniel’s fiancée, Ava. She knew it was wrong, but every smile

Yeah, that makes so much sense. We really do just bring what we grew up with into marriage, then act surprised when our partner does it different. Kitchen example is perfect - same room, two totally different rules. Balance is the word. Not about 50/50 every day, just about meeting each other where you’re at. Sounds like you learned that the hard way. Appreciate you sharing it.

In all of these, your upbringing matters. What you are used to. What you saw growing up. If these have shaped your philosophy of life, please patiently look for a man or woman that fits into that. My ex would chase me out of the kitchen because that is how she was raised. But my wife would want you to help in the kitchen and other things, that is what she believes in. I tell you these things cause significant conflicts in marriage. We have to find balance. Help your wife. Help your husband. Couples must seek this balance.

I see a lot of conversations about gender roles on the timeline these days. Truthfully, I believe some roles naturally come easier to one person than the other. But I also believe marriage is not a competition. Sometimes it is simply about supporting your partner in ways that make life easier for both of you. Before my husband and I got married, I was very honest with him about something. There were certain chores I had never done in my life. Not only had I never done them, I had absolutely no interest in learning them. I told him plainly, “If this is going to be a problem, let us discuss it now because I don’t want surprises after marriage.” I even suggested that if it became necessary, we could always pay someone to do it. My husband looked at me and said, “Why would we do that? I’ll do it.” I laughed. Not because I didn’t believe him. I just thought it was one of those sweet things people say before marriage. You know the kind. The promises that sound beautiful during courtship and mysteriously disappear after the wedding. Well, here we are over 14 years later. Not once has this man asked me to do those chores. Not once. Not even a “Can you help me this one time?” Nothing. The funny thing is that after years of watching him do it, I eventually learned how to do it myself. Every now and then I would feel guilty and offer to help. His response was always the same. Don’t worry about it. Just sit there and keep me company. Imagine that. I came to help and got reassigned to the position of Official Companion. So there I would sit, talking, laughing, giving completely unnecessary commentary while he worked. Sometimes I wonder if that was his plan all along. Maybe he knew that if he kept doing it long enough, one day I would learn by watching. Or maybe he simply meant what he said. What I know for sure is that he kept his word. And in a world where people make promises they never intend to keep, I think that’s one of the most beautiful gifts you can give your spouse. Not the chore itself. Not the task. The consistency. The fact that fourteen years later, your actions still match your words. Marriage has taught me that love is often found in the small things people do repeatedly without keeping score. And sometimes, love looks like a husband telling his wife, “Don’t bother. Just sit there and keep me company.”

My ex husband & I were 5 years into our relationship, engaged, & living together when the IRS came after him for $350k I still am unclear of the details as he refused to show me any documents but apparently his mom who passed away a few years before we met had a trust set up that he needed to do a yearly withdrawal to avoid an insane amount of taxes on the money she left him which ended up being around $ 600k. Turns out he had not withdrawn any of it like he was supposed to the past 5years. Looking back I should have listened to my gut as this was a HUGE red flag, this man had omitted/lied to me about a significant amount of money he had, that literally could have changed a lot of things for us. But in the name of his unhealed mommy issues he I guess was unable to even fathom withdrawling that money yearly. So after the 6th year the account agreement came to an end, and the money was dispersed all at once untaxed, unknown to me. The IRS sure as hell knew though.

@eunice84833 That hit me right in the chest. Dads feel everything, they just carry it quieter. The fact that you two just cried together, that’s love without words. I’m glad you got that moment. Not everyone does.

My mom didn’t cry at my wedding. My DAD did. Full grown grandpa. Tears. Everyone consoling him. I tried to hold it together and I failed. We just faced each other and cried. Later I asked him what happened. He said he was going to miss me. That he was thinking about what my new life would mean for me. I had to ask myself why did I ever believe men don’t love this deeply? Some fathers are carrying so much love they just never had the words to express it.

HOW THEIR MARRIAGE ENDED UP IN DIVORCE!💔 Their marriage broke because of water to wash hand. Husband and wife finished eating, the husband then said 'darling, change this water' because it was an oily food, a soup. The wife had washed her hand and stood up.. the man called his wife, 'Darling, please change this water, bring soap for me' and what view. She said 'no, no, no, I've cleaned my hand. Please stand up to go and get water to wash your hand. What is it? I'm tired.'👇

💊 DRUG OF THE DAY #003: AMOXICILLIN Amoxicillin is one of the most widely prescribed antibiotics in the world. It is commonly used to treat bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, ear, throat, skin, and urinary tract. However, one of the biggest misconceptions in healthcare is that antibiotics can treat every infection. Amoxicillin is effective against susceptible bacteria, but it has no activity against viruses such as those causing the common cold and most cases of influenza. 📌 Key Clinical Pearl: Using antibiotics when they are not needed increases the risk of antimicrobial resistance, making future infections harder to treat. ✅ Treats susceptible bacterial infections ✅ Generally well tolerated ✅ Widely used in clinical practice ⚠️ May cause allergic reactions ⚠️ Can lead to antibiotic-associated diarrhea ⚠️ Should not be used without a clear indication As pharmacists, we play a crucial role in promoting responsible antibiotic use and protecting the effectiveness of these medicines for future generations. I was scrolling through Facebook yesterday when I came across a post that caught my attention. It was about three co wives who always wear the same outfits. They are married to three brothers and often dress alike. I was both shocked and surprised. It got me thinking, "Is this something I could do?" My answer is no. That said, I applaud them for the unity they seem to share. At least from the pictures, they appear to have a strong bond and get along well. What about you? Is this something you would be willing to do? Would you like to wear the same outfit every Sunday as your husband's brothers' wives?
