@kileynoodles Happy half birthday to one of the funniest bipeds to ever walk the Earth. 👍

@ClaytonTrutor Time to disconnect these city connect unis for good. I can only think of a handful I’ve actually liked and the rest I’ve mostly hated.
English

Every one of them is terrible but the Royals one is the worst
Talkin' Baseball@TalkinBaseball_
Which new City Connect uniform is the best and which is the worst?
English

@FinlayDave Beautiful.
Planet Earth is blue and there’s nothing I can do…but at least there is peace and unity in outer space.

@gbrilo @Montreal_Expos Yeah, congrats on having as many World Series championships as the Expos despite existing for several decades longer. 🙄
May you never win a thing while Bud Selig lives and breathes.
English

@Montreal_Expos Don’t knock the Brewers! They found a way for a small market team to be successful unlike you!!

Get this man an Expos cap 🧢

@TheSports_Shift Correction: one other person said Wilkerson.
English

@TheSports_Shift Wow, no one said Mitch Webster or Brad Wilkerson yet.
English

@ElliottFPrice I’m with you Elliott, cutting Vitiello in favour of Lopez angered me and made zero sense. Joe deserved better. There were a few moves made in Spring Training 2004 that truly felt like a sabotage effort straight out of the movie Major League, and that was one of them.
English

Hey @Montreal_Expos
Next Netflix - What happened to Joe Vitiello
Came off the bench in '03 - .342 in 76 at bats
Last seen consoling Matt Cepicky who was in tears, they were the last cuts in camp in '04
Joe never played in the big leagues again @TylerKepner

@dannogallagher7 @Cdnmooselips33 I still haven’t recovered.

April 8, 1995: After John Wetteland, Ken Hill & Marquis Grissom were traded days earlier, @cdnmooselips33 left the #expos as a free agent to sign a four-year deal worth $22.5-million with the Rockies.

@Montreal_Expos @eliasmakos He’s on a mission to retrieve a ball Vlad Sr. launched off Mike Hampton in 2003. ⚾️

@EnragedExposFan @BBGreatMoments Glad to hear you're well, Mark. :)
For the record, your outfield is 🔥🔥🔥🔥!
English

@MichaelK1487306 @BBGreatMoments Keeping well over here, Michael, hope you and yours are too! 🙂
Sometimes you’ve gotta play by your own rules to win the game. 😉
English

@EnragedExposFan @BBGreatMoments Is this allowed??
🤣😂🤣
I hope you and yours are well, Mark!

@SlangsOnSports @EliasSports I swear I have a photographic memory for only one thing, and it’s the Montreal Expos. When I saw the date of the last 5-6-4-3 double play in another post something deep in my memory bank reminded me that the Expos were involved, and Lansing came to mind. Thanks for confirming.
English

The last 5-6-4-3 DP in MLB was turned by the Giants at Montreal on August 24, 1995
Matt Williams (3B) to Royce Clayton (SS) to Robby Thompson (2B) to Mark Carreon (1B) with Mike Lansing batting in the bottom of the sixth inning

Not your average double play. 👀
English

@ashkan @Montreal @MLB No sense of letdown here, only renewed hope and optimism.
It’s been 22 years, we can wait a little longer as long as we know things are progressing in the right direction. If the dream becomes reality it’ll be well worth waiting for.
Thanks again for all your efforts. 👏

Confession time this Easter Sunday.
I am human. I am flawed. I am not perfect. No one is.
Every day, at some point, I pull this article up and read it again.
Patience—or more accurately, my lack of it—is the only real obstacle between @Montreal and submitting a proposal to @MLB to bring back the @Montreal_Expos. Serenity now. I have stopped counting "aggregate LOI" and now worry "what if they move on?"
Entrepreneurs are paradoxical creatures: simultaneously impatient and deeply patient. The work demands urgency, but the outcome demands time.
Right now, all I have to do is stay patient. This is not in my DNA. Can you tell?
And if you’re offering me your support and belief in this, the truth is—I feel like I’m letting YOU down by not delivering a team tomorrow. It KILLS me.
But to do this right… I have to stay patient. It is hard.
As that’s not in my DNA. I am sorry I cannot deliver the #peanutproject community the outcome you seek ASAP, but it is not in my control. Everything else within my control is addressed... my inbox is an orgy of investor interest (not perfect, but sublime).
Serenity now. Article in question (moot, it's a crutch, I don't actually read it, I look at it... and scream...) - LOL.
English

@Montreal_Expos Good times. I remember that series well.
