There's an ex-council house in my village for sale for £795k. It does have 4 bedrooms, a garden + car parking. But it amazes me that this house was once for normal, working class people. Now you'd need 2 adults working full-time in well-paid jobs to have this standard of house.

Getting pelters for having 2 blank days on the daily’s on @RacesNow_ . Betting is a long game, I would hope the record of winners speaks for itself. A p&l is published weekly, which on all measures shows a profit including 12/1 winner on Boxing Day. I have no doubt there will be spells where there are many days without winners, it is the nature of the game .We are uniquely independent and not affiliated to bookmakers, but if you are in this game to make a mint over two days, I suggest you take up tiddlywinks . Picks are based on value, it is seldom anything is less than 2/1. Booked New Year’s Eve meal in a restaurant, just a set menu, probably done by 10pm. Restaurant email demanding full payment up front. I understand the struggle of the hospitality industry and been happy to leave card details and even pay a deposit, but that’s a step too far.
