We came to Hawaiʻi to celebrate Women's History Month. What we didn't expect was to be called to serve it. When flooding hit the island, we shifted our event by two weeks. We had to replan, reimagine, and reprioritize — fast. But stress has a way of clarifying what matters most. And what mattered most were the people. We met with Kalei Gamiao, whose entire community — like so many others — was devastated by the floods. We listened. We asked what was needed. And then we acted. We created the @HumanizeHerNow Hawaiʻi Relief Fund. I am personally committed to matching every donation until we reach our goal. To date: $14,000 distributed directly to 13 families. Hawaii, you exceeded every expectation. 🌺 When HumanizeHer was founded, the dream was to create spaces where women could walk in as strangers and leave as collaborators, champions, and community. Last weekend at Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design in Honolulu, that dream became real in the most beautiful way. Our first Hawaii launch brought together some of the most extraordinary women leaders and changemakers on the island — and what unfolded was something we couldn't have scripted. Raw conversations about leadership, entrepreneurship, and what it really means to build something meaningful. The kind of dialogue that doesn't end when the event does.
