Don’t fall into this imaginary trap from the prop firms that once you pass your phase 1 or 2 and you get a certificate that makes you feel like you achieved something. This is the biggest scam Ive seen from them, but it works because you begin to feel like you achieved something and then you lose it all, because you don’t know shit about trading. Ignore the false achievement of certificates and focus on payouts.

From my own experience, I believe it took me so long to accept it was because of the lack of trust in my system/approach. Now when I fully trust my system a loss no longer bothers me, because I know its simply part of the game and Ill make it back most likely the next trading day or the one after.

Why is accepting losses as a trader so difficult?

@I_amnelson02 Honestly bro just experience with your strategy / approach. You gotta realise youll never find something that works 100%, only being a good risk manager in the end will get you your goals, but strategy will determine how fast.

There’s no strategy strong enough. To save a weak mindset.

Took a stop loss today. Didn't change the plan. Didn't revenge trade. Didn't even feel bad. That's not luck. That took years to build.

@jtrader Years to build and only someone with years of experience can even comprehend what it really means. Without the experience you think you know it, but when it comes to applying it yourself you see that you don’t know shit.

@CRTwithSaint Exactly. Thats why props give phase 1 achievement cert as if it means something, just to make you feel like youve made it to then lose it all.

I swear getting funded is overrated. Staying funded is the real skill.

Are you even an ICT trader if you don't do these things: 1. See something precise and say "must be random". 2. Call a setup "bread and butter".

@_garvey999 Its has a tricky price action for sure, I prefer to stay away from FOMC and lower my expectations. Monday and Tuesday was no problem though this week and tomorrow Thursday I expect increased volatility for sure and extra manipulation, so will keep this in mind

ICT traders didn't trade yesterday because it's Pre FOMC wouldn't trade today because it's FOMC day and will not trade tomorrow because it's post FOMC.

FOMC really made me realise how glad I am to myself for simply staying away from the charts and just allowing me to observe this whole price action and simply learn even more.
