I've had to get very creative with my clears, which means I have indeed bothered to learn the combat mechanics in depth. Playing since 1.0 doesn't mean much here.

@AndreaFracolol @lanxre @Jaguar2554_ ... Look at Venti's updated kit, he's the on-fielder on that team, not Fischl, her 20% self-healing doesn't matter much at all when she never gets hit. Shielders being added because "the dodge isn't reliable" means nothing when adding one is still usually a dps loss.

@AndreaFracolol @lanxre @Jaguar2554_ If you time stop, you stop the particles and enemy movements. You remove i-frames and fast energy funneling. if you time stop and don't do those things, there is literally no point because longer animations will still be a detriment. I think we're having different conversations

In one of the recent Stygian Onslaughts, I ran Venti, Fischl, Xingqiu, Ororon and relied on i-frames. Including a sustain often cuts down on your damage. Some teams are fine with it, others are not.

@Error403HRD @lanxre @Jaguar2554_ People use it as a "panic button" but virtually you can circumventing the whole situation with a beefed up Shield (especially if you take advantage of how shield absorption works

@AndreaFracolol @lanxre @Jaguar2554_ Oh my god. Okay. Let me explain THE BASICS. A skill produces particles, Ult absorbs particles. If you Skill then Ult quickly enough (very easy), you can use your ult and THEN get the energy from your skill, this cuts down your rotation time a LOT. It's about the speed.

@Error403HRD @lanxre @Jaguar2554_ How? because when you ult the whole Funneling has already happened, and if you kill the mob an still want the particles they will still move after you finish the animations Using the Ult to dodge is because the game has a very bad dodge system, that is why Shielders are a thing
