✨ "Picnic With a Purpose" ✨ 🏆 2024-2025 Middle School Community Impact Award winning project. In concluding our celebration and recognition of these outstanding 6th grade students and their teachers, we also need to recognize the community of Elkhorn, Wisconsin and their partnership with Wausau Homes. The community has truly come together to support their schools and the innovative work happening at Elkhorn Area School District. Congratulations to everyone involved in this outstanding and ongoing community effort!

We have this #3Dprinted puzzle in my classroom & students love trying to fit the pieces in…and after 3 years a student finally figured out the “hard” side! It required a little out of the box thinking! #STEM

3,000,000 Skilled Trade Jobs open in 2028...this is the Class of 2030...they will be sophomores in high school in 2028...an age at which they will seriously be thinking about their future careers. This is why we partner with community businesses, such as Wausau Homes Elkhorn.

Students are creating visually captivating skateboard decks centered on comets, asteroids, and meteors to educate about these celestial phenomena. Designs are to include symbols and images representing each w/ peers choosing three designs for production.

Canva, sublimation, and the formation of construction companies to build houses for @PLTWorg Green Architecture moves students beyond the walls of classroom collaboration to a real life simulation. When they ask, “Why are we learning this?” the answer becomes obvious to them!
