The Finer Coffee filter basket is unique in having a curved bottom but a flat interior. I look a look to see how it performed for taste. Coffee roasting can be done using heat from convection, conduction, or radiation. I explored heat soaking (50C) roasted coffee beans just after the roast, and I found an improvement in taste. I’m curious if anyone else has tried doing something similar. I thought it might make the beans taste baked, but it did not. rmckeon.medium.com/initial-testin…

Be careful cleaning espresso filters and shower screens with microfiber cloths. In more experiments with thermal pulsing for coffee roasting, I have been exploring what pulses really mattered. I figured if I could get this in the more extreme case would be easier to understand when it was happening more mild case. I have finally been successful at baking these beans.
