In Lille with an Estonian business delegation at @INCYBER_Europe It was not too hard to enjoy the beauty of old town Lille. Different story with those numerous encounters with cyber security people, at least our delegates seemed to understand better what was going on 🇪🇪🇫🇷

🥀 Aujourd’hui 25 mars, l’Estonie commémore les déportations de 1949. Plus de 20 000 personnes innocentes ont été arrachées à leurs foyers et envoyées en Sibérie. La Russie répète ces crimes en Ukraine aujourd’hui. Nous sommes solidaires de l’Ukraine.🇺🇦

Russia brutally struck the central part of Lviv, a city of exceptional cultural value and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Damage was caused to the UNESCO World Heritage. I urge UNESCO Director-General @UNESCO_DG to immediately respond to this crime in the strongest terms. Ukraine will use all available mechanisms to protect our cultural heritage and ensure accountability. Russia’s brutal violations of international law must be met with accountability. Not only the center, but also residential areas of Lviv have been struck. Throughout the day, Russia is terrorising many cities accross Ukraine with swarms of “Shahed” drones: Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and others. There are damages and casualties among civilians. Russia is doing exactly what the Iranian regime is doing in the Middle East, but in the middle of Europe. Russia proves its status of a terrorist state. And this is how it must be dealt with — through strength, not weakness, and increased pressure on all fronts.
