خالد ممتاز روزنامهنگار اماراتی معتقد است ترامپ با تهدید مقامات آمریکایی مانند لیندزی گراهام، پیت هگست، روبیو و راتکلف که مخالف توافق «تسلیم» در جنگ با ایران هستند، ثابت میکند که از این توافق نفع شخصی میبرد و بعداً این مسئله آشکار میشود.
پینوشت: امارات و حتی عربستان، کویت و بحرین چندان از وضعیت پیش آمده در توافق پیش رو راضی نیسستن. سکوت و یا رضایت ظاهریشان به دلیل عدم اطمینان از مواضع ترامپ است.

Vance’s defenses of the “deal” have been so palpably absurd that I wonder whether he isn’t actually signaling to voters his covert opposition to the whole war. Using code words and ideas like a prisoner in a hostage video .

Oh, well, that's reassuring. We signed a secret deal with an enemy country that nobody is allowed to see, and that the vice president confirmed includes provisions for a $300 billion reconstruction fund, lifting sanctions, letting Hezbollah live, and God knows what other needless concessions, but hey, as long as it's "very strong."

The U.S. provides additional sanctions relief.
Iran abandons its long range missile program.

Iran ends its systematic human rights abuses and opens the country to meaningful reform.
The U.S. and its allies support economic reconstruction and investment.
Hezbollah withdraws from southern Lebanon and disarms.
Israel fully withdraws from Lebanon.
Everything is based on performance.

Your reminder that, under the JCPOA, this sanctions relief was only provided AFTER Iran implemented ALL of its nuclear commitments, and those actions were verified by the IAEA. Now Iran is getting that relief just for signing an agreement that requires zero nuclear concessions. (I'm sorry, promising not to build a bomb and to talk about its nuclear program later don't count.)

This is crucial bit. Iran can repatriate sales. “The provision for waivers of sanctions on oil sales takes effect immediately upon signing the agreement this week and also covers necessary services including banking, transportation and insurance needed to facilitate the sales.”
