Harrison Gwamnishu and his team have arrested suspected kidn@ppers in Uzo-Uwani LGA, Enugu State, recovering firearm and ₦2 million rånsom paid by the victim’s family. According to him, on Friday, 10th April 2026, Mrs. Joseph Victoria was abducted along Umeje Road in Adani, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State. The kidn@ppers initially demanded ₦40 million for her release, but her husband was only able to raise ₦2 million, which was paid to them. Upon receiving the report, Harrison Gwamnishu mobilized from Asaba, Delta State and, in collaboration with soldiers of the 82 Division, Enugu, moved to Adani for a joint operation. Through this coordinated effort, the suspects were successfully arrested. A pump-action rifle was recovered during the operation, along with the ₦2 million ransom. The suspects and recovered items have since been handed over to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Adani under the Enugu State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
