I don't think there's enough discussion happening on how bad the new Summit format is. We've gone from a 2 day, 12 Games Grands, to a: -TWO DAYS of LAN Qualifers where top 25 qualify each day (Literal snoozefest) -6 game Grands (Fun to watch, but WAY more RNG) -3 day event, where lots of people will surely miss day 1 if they've already booked travel / accom. Basically the same format as the 2023 Globals (the worst Globals), but without the lag (hopefully).

Some thoughts after FNCS: - FNCS should never be compressed into just one week like that. Every stage felt rushed, and any bans or mistakes couldn’t be fixed in time. - Storm Surge needs to be reworked before Mid Summit Lan. Right now, the only interesting parts of the game are offspawns and endgames, the mid-game is completely gone. Everyone is either sitting in a box to avoid getting hit or tanking storm. - We need some kind of mid-game objective that gives either points or op items (island, forecast, cache, bunkers, etc). - We are actually entering a new era of Fortnite Competitive. The number of “new” duos (e.g. Shur4 Repairs, Darkos Minori, Syaaz Scaryy) emerging is really cool to see.

@FNCompetitive I mean it’s the same shit as cheating so it should be a full 14 day comp ban not just a DQ from a single tournament. Stay consistent

Didn't qual grands for the first time since 2020 or something, i had a feeling it will happen sooner or later, in my head i feel like i was 100% the problem we didn't qual, its not that i played very bad, its i didn't play up to my avg and i felt that while playing I just don't feel any more passion for this game anymore, i think it started at the start of this year. I find it hard to open the game even on tournament days, literally don't enjoy queuing a cup anymore. I think I've accomplished 99% of my goals in this game, and that's why its probably hard to keep playing. No clue what i want to do in the future, will probably take a longer break to get my thoughts together and see

@Merstach Gotta play the game more this chapter the game is just so different than it used to be with some changes and meta just have to stay on it obviously ur still top tier when it comes to stacked lobbies and finals since you won em but getting there is much different than it was imo
