See you at #ERRF2022 🥳 We're bringing something #3dprinting special this year: the ExoSlide Extruder and Hotend!! Exoslide wormdrive gearbox + one more shaft = dual shaft constant mesh wormdrive extruder. Info on the website product pages 🙂
@Kynimer1 Sorry I missed replying. Adding spacers to the bottom of the 2040 uprights may make it too wobbly unless metal is used. You could source longer 2040s (and a belt, or just let us know if you order), then you could increase Z travel! The only hard part is the M5 threads x4 per.
@ExoSlideLLC How will the new belt XZ kit work if I were to add 10mm spacers at the bottom of the Z towers to make up for the lost height from the Y mod? Might sound silly, but those 10mm are important to me, XD.
@ExoSlideLLC I got the belted XZ kit yesterday. While installing I found this belt clamp was installed with the teeth facing the wrong way and there were sagging filaments that plugged the opening. I was able to clean it with a hobby knife and reverse the clamp. Just FYI
@8up1 It looks like it should be close. The printed left side V-wheel mount version should work (or only need minor changes). The right side mount will need adapting. I'll post the STEP files on the product page (STLs already there).
New ExoSlide Creality Belt Z and XZ #3dprinting kits are now available 🥳. Fixes Z banding caused by lead screws ✅. Also eliminates axis misalignment on power down ✅. Z kit even works with stock V-wheels if you want try that first! ✅
We won't make it to #MRRF2022 this year😢 what with moving both business and home in the last few weeks, there was no way to make it happen. I'll miss meeting back up with everyone, but we'll make it to #ERRF2022 with some really cool new products!
