Kyler Murray career record 38-49-1. Missed 12 games due to injury in 2025. JJ McCarthy career record 6-4. Missed 7 games dues to injury. Unless KOC is absolutely sure that JJ isn't the guy, I don't want Kyler anywhere near Minnesota. JJ still has upside.

@terryehl It's a win-loss-win if JJ is the starter in 2026 for me. WIN- He improves mightily and we've got a QB. LOSS- He's just good enough to get us back to 9-8 on the heels of the Flores defense. WIN- He fails miserably, and the Vikings get a top 5 pick.

@smeepuss Was just talking last season. But sure, let's play this out. JJ totally would have started over Sam Darnold in 2024. So that counts as 17 more. (sarcasm intended) And Kyler has missed 19 games in the last three seasons, and made the playoffs once in 7 years.
