The road ahead will be long and hard. But for those of us that voted against a dictatorship, we showed that we are, and will remain, pro-democracy. There were key wins in some states and for that, I am grateful and proud of the progress. Good candidates won their races & good voters decided to enshrine certain freedoms. Now, we gear up and prepare ourselves to *continue* to be on the right side of history.

As heartbroken and anxious about he future as I am, I won't let myself forget that the fight for Democracy isn't over. It's just beginning. The next 4 years will be bad. How adamantly we resist the descent into tyranny will decide whether it's permanent. We must stay strong.

Sexism is one of the worst problems in the U.S. still to this day. Some say more than racism. Think about it. A little over half of the voters voted and elected a convicted sex offender, liar, financial fraudster, and felon (Donald tRump) and hands down the worst president ever who is a man because they absolutely refuse to think a woman can be President of the U.S. even though Kamala Harris is a qualified, professional, successful, educated, intelligent, and distinguished attorney, prosecutor, attorney general, senator, vice president, and woman. Her only crime is being a woman while tRump's only crimes are actually felony crimes and sexual assaults. tRump's presidency has been labeled by scholars and historians as one of the worst presidencies in the history of the U.S., but they would still rather vote for the destructive man than the awesome and intelligent woman. WTF? It's a fact that the Democrats would have saved the U.S. from fascism and the destructive and evil tRump and the Republicans. We are in trouble, just like the last time tRump murdered over a million people with his lies of covid and public health and completely destroyed the economy in only 4 years and created so much division, hate, and violence.
