@MsElcano and her first graders celebrated their narrative writing with a publishing party today! Parents, families, teachers and kids listened to well crafted narratives by special first grade authors! @GrahamRoadES @FCPSElemLit

What is a mental model and what does it have to do with language comprehension? Our @fcpsnews reading teachers spent part of their learning earlier this week digging into just that, as well as building understanding around @LexiaLearning implementation and reading plans!

Had the opportunity to facilitate PD on small group literacy instruction in grades 3-6 to teachers from across the county. It was so fun to reconnect with some familiar faces and meet so many incredible teachers from different schools!
