Marta Mboka Tveit is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oslo. Her PhD took an ecocritical look at contemporary Anglo-African & Norwegian SF. She is interested in the nexus between culture and cultural theory on the one hand, and politics and philosophy on the other.

He is the author of the book Fictional Languages in Science Fiction Literature: Stylistic Explorations (Routledge, 2024) and co-editor of Reading Fictional Languages (Edinburgh University Press, 2023).

He holds a PhD in Language and Literature from the Federal University of Piauí, Brazil, and was a CAPES fellow at the University of Nottingham (2021–2022).
