@PompeyCyclist @rjdekanter @cyclegaz We sell direct to the consumer so we’d be well aware of any failures and doing our best to support those cases. So I suspect our data is a more accurate snapshot than numbers thrown around on the web. Anyway, you made your point clear. As I say I just feel obliged to defend them

@FairlightCycles @rjdekanter @cyclegaz Don’t believe all I read on the internet. Well there are videos and loads of engineering evidence behind it. Oh and I’ve had a 6800 and an 8000 crack on my own bike so there’s that too. Some of the ones you’ve sold have definitely failed. It’s a fact. You may not be aware tho

With @FairlightCycles announcing already their specs for di2 12 speed bikes, which colour should I get? Orange or grey?

@PompeyCyclist @rjdekanter @cyclegaz Don’t believe all you read on the internet. We haven’t had a single one fail. I feel obliged to defend their product for that reason.

@FairlightCycles @rjdekanter @cyclegaz Not a single one? I find that very hard to believe. The failure rate is crazy high at around 0.5 to 1% for 6800 and similar for 8000. It’s documented all over the internet. Google it. It’s interesting and pretty scary.

Hey @FairlightCycles do you happen to know if a 650B @panaracer_world Gravelking SK 1.9" fits a Faran? 21mm ID FSA Afterburner wheels so not mega-wide.
