If 16,000 kg of Gold left Nigeria to Dubai while the FG acknowledged exporting only 64kg, then how did Dubai receive more 15,900kg of Gold from Nigeria? Nigerians seem not disturbed enough about what is going on in Nigeria

What baffles me with House Officers is this:- -We have gotten PAT to cover house officers -We have gotten accoutrement for House officers -We worked diligently with MDCN and NMA to get many months arrears for over 50 house officers -We are working to get salary payment for house officers at regular intervals Then:- -Every month, I hear how many house officers have left many ARD Chapters claiming neglect from ARD and NARD -No house officer pays NARD dues claiming they aren’t members of NARD (NOTE: we have never asked house officers or MDCN to pay any capitation and I will not ask for it even till I leave office Despite that:- -This NARD is working with NMA and MDCN to ensure everything a house officer is entitled to, they get YET:- EVERYTIME I COME TO MY TIMELINE, ITS POSTS LIKE THESE I SEE NA WA FOR HOs OH OR IS THIS WHY AFTER THE ARREARS WERE PAID THEY SAID NARD DID NOT GET IT? Well House officers know where to find me when they need anything…

Naija Observations 👀
Naija Observations 👀@NaijaObserves·
Atiku is right on every word of this. And that sentence alone should tell you how badly Tinubu has handled the doctors. 👀 19 months. Let that land. 19 months of unpaid allowances that were already agreed upon. Already signed. Already promised. Not a request. A contractual obligation the government simply decided to ignore. 💀 These are not fresh graduates negotiating their first salary. These are resident doctors running wards, managing emergencies, training to become the specialists a country of 220 million desperately needs. And the government treated their signed agreement like a first draft. 🖊️ Every doctor on that strike is one more person who will update their CV tonight. UK. Canada. Saudi Arabia. Australia. The diaspora recruitment pipeline runs 24 hours and Nigeria keeps feeding it with betrayal. ✈️ 31 APC governors. Federal executive. Senate majority. And they cannot honour a professional allowance deal for the doctors keeping Nigerians alive. But they can give INEC officials land in Abuja. 🏗️ Hospitals going dark on Tuesday while Easter church massacre victims from Kaduna still need treatment. This is what “Renewed Hope” looks like in the wards. 🏥🇳🇬 Pay what you owe. Full stop. 🎯

True governance requires seeing beyond the bureaucratic limbo and recognizing the human faces behind the files. 19 months of arrears is not a statistic; it represents 19 months of unpaid rent, school fees, and the mounting personal stress of men and women who are expected to perform surgery with steady hands while their own homes are in financial turmoil.

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors should not have to beg for what has already been agreed upon. The Federal Government signed a deal on the Professional Allowance Table, and now it wants to abandon it. This is not governance; it is betrayal. Our resident doctors are the last line of defence in hospitals that are already collapsing. They work gruelling hours, in impossible conditions, for pay that insults their sacrifice. And now, the government seeks to take away the little that was promised? The Tinubu administration must demonstrate commitment to the issues: 19 months of unpaid Professional Allowance arrears; promotion arrears gathering dust; a Medical Residency Training Fund stuck in bureaucratic limbo; and a government that treats its doctors as an afterthought and remains unconcerned as they flee the country in droves. Every doctor Nigeria loses to the UK, Canada, or Saudi Arabia is a failure of leadership, not a failure of patriotism. You cannot ask people to serve a nation that refuses to honour its own word. I stand with NARD. Pay what you owe. Honour what you signed. Or explain to 200 million Nigerians why their hospitals will go dark on Tuesday. -AA

@UkwuezeEmmanu15 House officers get call allowance which is one of the professional allowances. I understand that the more pressing issue is the delayed payment of salaries which is quite distressing and embarrassing. Hopefully they start implementing new call allowance for HOs with March salary

Went to register a SIM today, and what happened honestly got me thinking. After the first process, he captured my face, and I assumed everything was done. Next thing, he said the registration didn’t go through because the network was bad. Since I wasn’t paying too much attention at first, we started the process all over again. This time, I noticed he picked up another SIM entirely, not the one we had registered earlier. That was when it hit me… he had registered two different SIMs. This is exactly how people get implicated in things they know nothing about. I made sure I collected both SIMs, even though he kept denying it. I’m very sure of what I saw. In the next 24 hours, I’ll find out if both were activated. Please, whenever you’re registering a SIM, pay close attention. Don’t assume anything. Watch every step.

This outcome reflects the resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment of our association in defending the rights and welfare of its members. An American bank partnered with a Nigerian man to launder $308 million of Nigerian government money. The money left Nigeria through American banks. It then sat quietly in a shell company for years while the man lived comfortably in Texas. In 2003 American authorities arrested him. He spent six months in federal detention in the United States waiting to be tried. Before the trial happened he offered to return $163 million. America accepted. He flew back to Nigeria. Nobody questioned him. Nobody charged him. Nobody prosecuted him. He ran for Senate and won. He ran for Governor and won. He ran for Governor again and won. America returned the $308 million his operation had laundered. The new president then put him in cabinet. America did not trust Nigeria with the $308 million. They tied every dollar to three specific roads. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Abuja-Kano Road. Second Niger Bridge. They even included a clawback clause. Misuse one dollar, pay it all back. Why the conditions? Because previous loot returned to Nigeria had already disappeared. Nigeria's own government told the court they had no record of how the earlier billions were spent. A man who laundered billions is currently Nigeria's Minister of Budget and Economic Planning. He decides how Nigeria spends its money. 💀🇳🇬🇺🇸
