Yes, the Kickstarter campaign to get my passion project KABOOMANIA over the finish line starts on March 29 and runs for 30 days. You'll have the chance to get your hands on an extremely high-quality boxed edition - including the game on a classic floppy disk or CD. You'll also have the opportunity to add a new monster to the game based on YOUR specifications. Do you have an evil mother-in-law? This is YOUR chance to throw a few sticks of dynamite at her pixelated version! 😉 The purpose of the campaign is (the game is coming out anyway) to finance the remaining work on the 4-player multiplayer mode, to release the game for Steam, iPhone, and consoles, and hopefully to add a few more Chris Huelsbeck tracks. And they obviously had a lot of fun doing it! Minor bugs were found and new suggestions were made. I can only say a thousand thanks for that! So what happens now? 🤔 Well, as already mentioned in the campaign, most of the game is already finished. 🤓 What's still missing is the implementation of the Kickstarter rewards, a few missing voiceovers, and a few other minor details. I really hope that everything will be done by the end of the year. And then hopefully nothing will stand in the way of the game's release in the first quarter of 2026. 😎 But don't worry, as a supporter of the game, I will of course keep you up to date with regular updates here and on Kickstarter.
