𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗸𝗼 November 21, 2023. Reference is made to Psalm of Moses - Psalm 91: 7-12 We are living in crisis times as is well known. The past six years have been tragic. The prospect of a South Africa without the ANC in charge looms larger. We see the effects of this crisis on the economic, and political systems and the rule of law. The ANC has not put this crisis to waste. They have weaponised the National Prosecution Authority against its children. A cabinet decision was taken on January 18, 2018, to dismiss me from @Eskom_SA because the cabinet in its wisdom decided I was corrupt. President Cyril Ramaphosa admitted on August 11, 2021, at the Zondo Commission that he fired me, but it was a joint decision of the Cabinet. He claimed that he fired me because he wanted to avert a severe crisis at Eskom when in truth he was collapsing Eskom so that it could be unbundled to allow the IPPs unfettered access at the expense of Eskom. This is evidenced by the current state of the electricity disaster with no end in sight. Eskom recorded the worst net loss after tax of R23.9 billion in 2023 despite a 9.61% electricity tariff increase granted by @NERSA_ZA. Eskom will never be the same. To justify the unlawful cabinet decision, the @NPA_Prosecutes had to charge me. This they did on October 27, 2022. Today, the court has struck the matter from the court roll. The National Director of Public Prosecution must re-enrol the matter whenever she thinks the matter is trial-ready. The NPA misdirected itself by charging me. It did not act without fear, favour or prejudice. They were doing somebody a favour. What is hurtful to me is that the NPA was commended by well-respected constituencies in our society for the unlawful arrests. I am convinced that South Africans have a very exaggerated sense of the rule of law. They don't think my family has rights as in the Bill of Rights. This is a persecution. That is why the banks have terminated my family's bank accounts because of this criminal matter. The aim is to destroy and liquidate my family without the benefit of a fair trial. I have been rendered stateless in my country of birth. What happened to me and my family is a hate crime. I don't wish it on anyone. The media has a role to play in helping the public evaluate whether the ongoing criminal investigations and prosecutions are proceeding appropriately or have been weaponised. The journalists failed the simple test. They saw nothing comical when the NPA obfuscated about the docket of more than 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀. The narrative that I am corrupt is too attractive for the media to be objective The ANC is a threat to the rule of law and the constitution. We must make 2024 better than 1994 by making NPA a Section 9 institution. The hyenas cannot look after the sheep. The likes of Bheki Mtolo and his ilk can't be the custodian of the constitution of the Republic. Loyalty should be to the Constitution and the Rule of Law and not to a Party of Mtolo. We must also resist with our votes the privatisation of the provision of electricity through the IPPs because that is the strategic goal of the financial institutions. These institutions are the biggest beneficiaries of the independent power producers programme. I have no ambition of holding a public office. Neither do I have an ambition of sitting on any board of a State Owned Company. It is not worth it. I look forward to living my life as a private citizen and doing the best I can for my family. The damage done to my family is immeasurable. As for @CyrilRamaphosa, the voters will judge him and history will not be kind to him. History will absolve those of us who successfully kept the lights on for three uninterrupted years in the period 2015-2018 without burning money with diesel and without skimping on maintenance. Our hearts were always in the right place. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOD BLESS!
