Nigerian citizen Gift Oladele, 24, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison following a horrific attack in Wrexham, Wales, where he raped a 19-year-old woman as she walked home from a night out on September 7, 2025. At Caernarfon Crown Court today, he received a total sentence of 25 years including an extended licence period of eight years. He was also handed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a lifelong restraining order to protect the victim. The presiding judge described his time giving evidence as “a performance,” citing an extraordinary level of arrogance and entitlement.
