How do these head coaches have time for a pregame interview… they don’t have to troubleshoot the endzone camera 4 minutes prior to kickoff?

I’ve been watching JMU’s defense and they’ve defended the open side or the backside of zone runs the same way most of the season. They gap or scrape exchange. The DE squeezes or plays quickly into the B gap and the LB takes the C gap. (Picture 1). It can force a pull for the QB and the LB is there to clean it up. JMU also hammers counter runs because that DE makes the pull a mess There’s a simple solution on offense to combat this. On a zone run you just block man on the backside. The OT blocks the DE and you give the ball. There ends up being a huge gap between the DE and DT. (Picture 2). I’m sort of baffled why opponents didn’t try this often. We did this in 2007 when teams gap exchanged. I’m curious if JMU stays with this concept on Saturday.

This is a dumb dumb rule. They’re basically making it illegal if an offense can jump as soon as the defense moves or stems the front. Not sure what would even initiate making this a discussion.
