+This project eventually bud off the published work which showed how to convince vertebrate embryos lacking a molecular clock to make somites: nature.com/articles/s4158… Unexpectedly, clock, a shortlived transcriptional repressor, lowers ERK activity by stabilizing ERK posphatases!+
