Wow it's hard to find UK ISO mechanical keyboards with north-facing shine-through keycaps, luckily @KeyboardCo have some @KeychronMK K10 V2 aluminium frame, brown switch stock still, nearest I can find to a 100% version of my old K8

Add the new firmware for you, check it's nice and bright and maybe then send it back to you.. ? I don't get to experience Keychronsupport as we work separately but they are very sorry about this.

@KeyboardCo @KeychronMK @keychronsupport I heard that @keychronsupport was worthless and now it's proven - they've not replied and don't seem to have posted since Xmas. Premium priced keyboards with budget level support. I could have saved £100 buying something from Amazon for £20 and the LEDs would actually have worked
