🚨LATEST: U.S. DOJ EXPOSE MASSIVE CRYPTO WASH TRADING RING ACROSS FOUR FIRMS The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted ten individuals linked to four crypto market-making companies — Gotbit, Vortex, Antier, and Contrarian — on charges of manipulating digital token trading volumes and prices. Federal court filings unsealed Monday in Oakland allege the defendants used fraudulent wash trading to create the illusion of market activity. Three of the accused, including two CEOs, were recently extradited from Singapore. Two others have already entered guilty pleas and received sentences.

Our account was restricted for some time during last weekend but we don't stop shipping here's the list of major fixes we've done to improve the app significantly. These will be available in the 2.2.6 Build of the app which should be approved for external testflight by tomorrow: 1. Optimize UTXO scanning performance. Issue: Severe app lag and UI freezing because UTXO scans were executing periodically without caching. Fix: Implemented a deduplicated caching layer with sequential scanning and increased stale times to prevent query bottlenecks. 2. Improve slide-to-approve gesture reliability. Issue: The shield slider occasionally got stuck because the gesture collided with the swipe-to-back navigation. Fix: Rewrote the gesture handler and disabled-state logic to prevent system navigation from interfering with the slider. 3. Resolve low-precision token formatting exceptions. Issue: The app crashed during the send flow for zero-decimal tokens because the logic incorrectly treated "0" as a missing value. Fix: Replaced the logic with nullish coalescing (??) to ensure stable formatting for tokens with zero or small decimal counts. 4. Stabilize social authentication sessions. Issue: Users experienced random session logouts on startup because security reset logic was running on social-only accounts. Fix: Added a strict social account check to prevent initialization resets from affecting social authentication users. 5. Resolve derivation path index collisions. Issue: Keypair generation failed when creating a new wallet at an index that was already present as imported wallet. Fix: Updated the generation logic to dynamically iterate through indices until a unique, available path is secured. 6. Correct backup states for non-mnemonic wallets. Issue: Social wallets incorrectly prompted users to back up a recovery phrase that does not exist for that account type. Fix: Replaced mnemonic flow with private key instead. 7. Improve state management for native wallet deletion. Issue: Deleting a native wallet triggered a full app reset even if a social wallet was still active and usable. Fix: Patched the deletion logic to also take into account social wallets. 8. Validate post-swap UTXO claim tracking. Issue: Unclaimed UTXOs fetching skipped an insertion index Fix: fixed initial cursor location at correct startIndex. 9. Remind the user to back up their wallet until the process is complete. Issue: Users often skip the initial backup, which leads to a total loss of funds if the device is lost or the app is reinstalled. Fix: Implement a persistent backup tray that only clears once the backup verification is successful. 10. Sweep funds from failed private swaps back into the public wallet. Issue: If a private swap fails, funds can remain stuck in the ephemeral wallet, making it hard to access(can be done manually by importing the ephemeral wallet via setting). Fix: On cancel it triggers a transfer back to the user’s public wallet. 11. Prefetch ZK files and bundle them into the app for registration. Issue: Downloading large Zero-Knowledge (ZK) files during the registration process causes high latency. Fix: Include the registration ZK file in the application’s local assets to enable faster registration. 12. Configure transactions to support swap details in the private history. Issue: Users cannot track their past private swaps in the history tab easily. Fix: added extra private metadata on swap related txn to club them in single card in history tab(future release). 13. Use native library for Rescue cipher encryption to improve performance. Issue: Running cryptographic operations like the Rescue cipher in JavaScript is computationally heavy, causing slow private send and swaps Fix: Integrated nitro cpp lib to handle Rescue cipher encryption more efficiently. A lot of UI fixes & optimisations were also made to better the UX of the app. Report on that coming tomorrow
