I absolutely adored May Calamawy in #LeeCroninTheMummy she was genuinely so good in the movie and it was nice seeing an Egyptian actress in a Mummy movie. Loved the reference she did on the red carpet as well. That was such a gag

Someone get Ed an Lorraine out of retirement as soon as fucking possible. Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is brutal and disgusting. Some of the grossest moments you can imagine to make you squeal and feel uneasy in that theater’s chair. Especially the “undressing” scene. Jesus Christ. We see a lot of reimaginings of vampires, werewolves, etc, so it feels fresh and nice to see one about the mummy. And in my opinion was executed very well.
