Arsenal fan here. Didn’t watch the game. I just can’t be bothered. I slowly stopped watching the games a few months back. It’s just so draining, uninspiring and boring. I think you only first realise what you actually enjoy about football when your team is doing really well while at the same time playing like Stoke City with great footballers. I became an Arsenal fan because I got inspired by Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, etc. Beautiful, creative, a bit chaotic, but with love for the game. I don’t think you become an Arsenal fan if you’re a young kid right now, because why would you? Who would inspire you? Raya receives the ball 38 times for Christ. Saka is the only one who gives us that feeling of “something magical might happen” and maybe Dowman as well. But the overall feeling of enjoyment of watching the Gunners is not there currently. There’s no love for the game anymore. There’s love for the result. But Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool have in recent years shown you can do both. I hope we win everything. Don’t get me wrong. But I miss Arsenal. Almost more than I miss trophies.

Nico O'Reilly had to come off with a left hamstring injury. O'Reilly first pulled up after a short burst of sprinting, reached for the hamstring, and attempted to play on, but was unable to continue. From the way it presented, it looked more consistent with a minor issue rather than a moderate or high-grade tear. Possible Recovery Times: Hamstring Tightness: Under 1 week Grade 1: 2-4 weeks Grade 2: 4-6 weeks Hamstring injuries usually need imaging to confirm the severity, so it is difficult to be definitive just from watching the incident. O’Reilly was subbed off with a left hamstring injury. Physios were seen doing tests and palpating his left hamstring. He immediately got subbed off. If you look closely around the 60th minute, he’s sprinting to recover the ball, makes a foul and then runs slowly back. After a few seconds you can see him “testing” his left hamstring. (Comments for picture) A bit after this he signals to the bench that he feels something in his left hamstring (points to it) but continues to play a bit and does a few passes. (Comments for picture) O’Reilly went straight to the dressing room. If precautionary/cramp: Could feature GW33. If grade 1 and up: Will miss double GW. It doesn’t seem positive but it’s not a severe injury at all. My initial reaction was: He’s out of double GW.
