@KXNGAO The difference is Dragunov doesn’t always do this. The shock and appeal of a spot like this is that it doesn’t happen all the time because wrestling still keeps a level of realism and psychology. Ospreay does this in practically every match which takes that away.

@TheDrainmaker The man has worked a full year plus in AEW (after spot appearances on AEW programming before), and it's taken a legit injury to Kyle Fletcher (another person AEW is playing with) for him to get the title opportunity (with no sense of if Tony Khan has a plan for him beyond that)🤷🏾‍♂️

Massive well done to @NORTH_NCL staff for handling a tense incident where a fan made a disgusting comment and saw the crowd turning on this person. The staff came in and calmed things straight away and soon after removed him, plus @TomCampbell addressing it after the match 👏👏👏

@SchoolOhio @HellsFavoritePK Yeah I hear you but back then if your school was telling you to do it those addresses were allowed. Later on in life it got to a point where they would make it clear “this address is viable and this one is not.”

And therefore an irrelevant and attention seeking comment from the OP, given as I could take an entire 2-3hrs from any promotion and say not one match here was “real graps.”

@michael80581923 @Lifer_Oner No it’s not, that’s not what it is at all. Graps is short for grappling. Grappling is a form of wrestling. Real graps would be mat wrestling, for example what Chad Gable and Kurt Angle are and were known for.

@AJStylesOrg Eh, "borrowing" was the wrong word here, but IMO you definitely were inspired seeing the Young Bucks and Ospreay/Swerve use similar maneuvers recently. And I think that is awesome. No different than Will Ospreay using your Styles Clash (albeit, as a signature, not a finish).

Just wanted to say thank you again for the kind words, the lovely messages (publicly and privately) and the general positivity I’ve recieved this week. AEW are in the UK this month. I would love the chance to ring announce for one match during that tour, fly the flag for the incredible non-wrestling talent on the scene over here. Wasn’t looking for any more than that, just one match in front of the AEW faithful. I put out a silly tweet for @TonyKhan which seems to have gathered some momentum with almost 400k views. I’ve had messages from old friends, new friends and some of my favourite people in the wrestling industry who have backed me up, and it’s all been a bit overwhelming. The fact that some of my favourite people in this space have shared it and shown their support has been really humbling. I don’t know if anything will come of it all, and if ends in a polite “no” then that’s okay. It’s made me realise that even somewhere as cynical and angry as social media there’s still love and light in the room. If it does happen…or if doesn’t, I’ll be forever grateful to you for shouting and sharing on my behalf. Thank you! “Shy bairns get nowt.”
