Other names floated include 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨 — a former U.S. attorney and accomplished judge — and 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐙𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧, who Turley says could “𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭.” But make no mistake about what Trump is doing here. Zeldin is the diplomat. Pirro is the proven loyalist with a prosecutor’s instincts. But the common denominator is that every option on the table is 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 than Bondi, not less. Democrats pushed Bondi out expecting weakness. What they’re getting is escalation. And the Epstein detail isn’t a footnote — it’s the headline nobody in Washington wants to touch. If Todd Blanche becomes AG, the man who has been at the center of the Epstein Files is now running the Department of Justice. That’s not a personnel change. That’s a statement of intent. @LauraLoomer @PamBondi This was a very heart warming acknowledgment Laura. I too, am grateful for these accomplishments. This is a very difficult position and I pray Trump has success selecting the next AG. We have many more hurdles to jump in a very short period of time.

At the end of the day, @PamBondi didn’t meet all of President Trump’s expectations as US Attorney General, but she is nonetheless a nice person and I do believe her heart is in the right place, even if we didn’t see as many arrests as we wanted and even though she fumbled the Epstein Files release. Pam Bondi made a lot of money before she became US AG and still took the time to uproot her very comfortable life in Florida where she was making way more money than she made in DC before she moved to our nation’s Capitol to serve the President. As someone who has been highly critical of Pam Bondi is the past, I can also admit Pam made sacrifices to serve President Trump, which we can be grateful for. Here is a list of Pam Bondi’s key accomplishments and major actions as U.S. Attorney General from February 2025 – April 2026 that I compiled. Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight. The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family. He admitted to the act, saying: “I’m not alleged. I did it.” He spent just 12 days in jail. His bond was reduced. Over half a million dollars was raised. He was allowed to graduate. And he is allegedly now attending college. And somehow, this is what justice looks like? This is a complete dishonor to the real victim - Austin Metcalf. As Charlie Kirk said: “Imagine believing that murderers deserve condolences, not their victims. The divide in America is between anyone with a grip on reality, and the clinically insane.” Those who support the killer are exactly that: clinically insane. Austin deserved better.
