Copying my response from another post: I love this. A lot of people here are interpreting this as "they don't want pvp" but that's not what they're saying. Pvp is a natural fitting occurrence in the world they built. Instead of looking at the game like an extraction shooter take a moment and consider it from a different angle. It's an action adventure game with realistic multi-player elements. The setting is a post apocalyptic world with an active resistance force. You're doing missions to build out the infrastructure and investigate mysteries. While doing that you run into other players. The players can choose to be violent towards one another or work collaboratively which is how it would actually be in this situation. I think we've all been missing that we're playing a narrative game, not a pure extraction shooter.

@FirstLegolas @IGN I'm not sure I'd go so far as to fully end exclusivity. Rather, I'd suggest that online or multiplayer focused games end it and go wide day 1, but that single player player games have a brief window of recidivist, maybe a year, then go wide.

Super disappointed on what I’ve been seeing in the #NIKKE community as of late.
