If the Rams go O-Line instead of WR on Thursday, the thought process is likely: We can get a WR3/WR2 of the future on day 2 or 2027. We love Mauigoa, Freeling, Fano, Vega, etc. and aren’t committed on paying Avila top guard market $ or McLendon… Or maybe Avila -> center?

@Nmartin55 Tate has no YAC either. If you want YAC, you need Lemon/Cooper/Concepcion. None would be bad choice

@JKBOGEN I just don't see any dominant aspect of Tates game to have him 1. He certainly saw softer coverages the guys like Tyson and Lemon with that deity playing on the other side.

@QBsMVP Really don't like a trade up for Tate. He's pretty meh in my book. Tyson and Lemon are the superior WR's IMO.

#NFLDraft take that goes AGAINST mock consensus: I believe #Rams going OL at 13 is being undersold. Should be nearly even odds as WR. Pretty sure Rams' starting LG, C, RG, and RT all entering contract years! WR makes sense, but Freeling, Vega, Proctor, all VERY live for 13 imo

Thought this was a smart comment on our channel. Rams have been on the borderline of making some MASSIVE deals with Carolina in the past. Christian McCaffrey, Brian Burns, and trying to trade up for Tet last year. Handful of former Rams and staff members in Carolina. Rams like to stockpile top-100 picks. While I don’t think this is enough to move up 6 spots, keep an eye on Carolina as a trade partner during the draft.

@AJSchulteFB Fano would be perfect for the Rams. He has the ability to back up all 5 spots and potentially start at center as rook.

@BGMediaOnSI Really would not love a trade up for Tate. He is not dynamic and is a much lesser prospect then previous trade up targets IMO. Do note, he played opposite a generational talent at WR who draw all of the top coverages.

We are less than a week away from the NFL Draft and this is what I am feeling for the Rams in the first round. 🔵 Trade up for Tate - Perfect for what they need at WR 🟡 Stay put for Ioane or Sadiq 🔵 Trade Back for Cooper or Concepcion Think QB could be an option on Day 2.

@bgmedia13 OL might be a depth piece, but if McClendon or AJ go down, we are in serious trouble at this time.

Given the health of the Rams roster, there is a discrepancy on what fans think and the actual impact a player at 13 will have. Any WR is WR3. Love Sadiq, but he's a rotational TE3 as a rookie. Any CB is also CB3. OL is a depth piece. Not bad. Just reality of the roster.

So far the fully evaluated WRs I would go with this as my current ranking: 1. Carnell Tate 2. Omar Cooper Jr. 3. Jordyn Tyson 4. Makai Lemon 5. Denzel Boston I've only finished my evals on 5. I think there's a significant gap between the first 4 and Boston FWIW
