AI-driven commoditization of software is permanently shifting market value away from digital "surplus" and back toward scarce physical assets like infrastructure and commodities. The real "repricing" will dominate as essential resources like fertilizer and precious metals reclaim their throne. Check out our latest newsletter. patreon.com/posts/great-re…

Starting 2 weeks ago, I existed several oil and gas related tickers to take rich profit and replace them with food and restaurant tickers. To access my real time Super Tiger mETF portfolio, please join Inner Circle tier at Patreon: patreon.com/c/Flextiger?va…

Today, my Super Tiger mETF return 2.1% while the broader markets are in red. I am all in my Super Tiger mETF in one of my IRA accounts. I can't just add new money to the account to drive up the return on a random day :-) Also this is an retirement account that enjoys the tax benefit (no tax on growth). If you are curious, become my Inner Circle members and see what tickers I have chosen. patreon.com/c/Flextiger

I bought $SSL on Feb 20. It returned nearly 40% in less than a month. Is your money working hard for you when you sleep? Check my other stock picks.

--The era effect is the dominant story-- The 38 instances are not drawn from a homogeneous market environment — they span radically different macro regimes. The 1953–1979 period saw an average return of roughly −7% across violations, with only 3 of 13 years positive. This was a world of high inflation, oil shocks, and a market without the structural tailwinds of modern monetary policy. The 1980–1999 era flips entirely — even when December lows were violated, the secular bull market was so powerful that 10 of 14 years still finished positive, averaging +11%. The 2000–2012 "lost decade" reverts to negative territory, and the 2014–2025 QE/low-rate era leans positive again. --The violation depth matters, but weakly-- The scatter plot reveals an interesting nuance: there's a loose negative relationship between how deeply the Q1 low undercut December's low and the full-year return, but it's noisy. 2008 stands out as an extreme outlier — a deep violation (11.9% below December's close) coinciding with a −38.5% year. 2020 is the counter-outlier: a massive 27.7% violation (COVID crash) yet a +16.3% year, because the market snapped back violently after Fed intervention. This suggests the depth of the break is less predictive than the macro context behind it. --The average of +0.2% is deeply misleading-- Pooling 70 years of structurally different markets into one average produces a statistic that describes almost no individual year accurately. The distribution is bimodal — you either get a bad year (the losses cluster around −10% to −30%) or a surprisingly good year (recoveries from oversold conditions). The median of +0.5% is equally uninformative. A better framing: when this signal fires in a bear-regime macro environment, the downside risk is severe. When it fires mid-bull or amid policy accommodation, the market often recovers and finishes fine. --What does this mean for 2026?-- The current violation (Q1 2026 low of 6,672 vs. December 2025 close of 6,721) is actually quite shallow — less than 1% below the December close. Historically, shallow violations have mixed outcomes. The more relevant question is which macro regime 2026 resembles: the supportive QE/low-rate era of 2014–2025, or a transitional period more like 2000–2002. With tariff uncertainty, elevated rates, and stretched valuations, the regime comparison matters far more than the violation itself.

🇺🇸 S&P 500 When the S&P 500 sinks below its December low in the first quarter, history tends to flash a warning light. On average, US stocks have gained only 0.2% for the full year when that happens 👉 isabelnet.com/?s=S%26P+500 h/t @RyanDetrick $spx #spx

Bitcoin's month long bottom period starts this. But it will take some time to get to the lowest price level before it takes off. Hold off buy for now.

Mid‑term, I believe we’ll approach the bear‑market low within the next six months, which should offer a strong buying window. Long‑term, the next major peak is likely in 2028–2029—and it may be the final peak of this era. After 2032, the current system could be replaced by a new form of money. In other words, we may have one last full cycle to capture meaningful upside.

QQQ Feb 4 → Mar 13: the market either kicks you out or waits you out. Over a month of churn, gone. And 2026 has fewer than 10 months left on the clock. Have you been making money?
