This isn't a nature reserve (although that might be debatable now!) This is actually our garden and this morning I counted 4 gatekeeper butterflies fluttering between the oregano and marjoram. As well as large whites, brimstone & red admiral butterflies @savebutterflies

@1lolamarina Oh no, that's not good, although the racoon is cute. I thought it would be a really bad year but most of the plants are able to withstand the dry and hot spells and bounce back and the invertebrates are loving it.

@ForLilCreatures So glad for you and the garden! My garden is not doing so well this year. No butterflies, groundhogs have disappeared, etc . All I have is this raccoon I named Rosita that comes ever night to visit and the regulars.

Happy FrogFriday I accidently disturbed this beauty the other day whilst filling the bird baths. I didn't know it was there until it hopped onto the pebbles at the edge of the pond where it sat for a little while before hopping off into the wild area next to the pond.

@1lolamarina We're due to hit 30 degrees here again the next few days, I always keep the pind and bird baths filled up
